Fusion Medical Staffing has built one of the strongest benefits packages in the travel therapy industry. Based in Omaha, they serve all allied health disciplines with strong 401(k) matching, day-one health insurance, and a well-organized digital experience. Recruiter quality is above average but some turnover has been noted in reviews.

Fusion’s benefits are genuinely excellent. Day-one insurance is a huge deal when you’re between contracts. The 401k match is something most agencies don't offer at all. Pay is competitive — not the absolute highest I’ve seen but solid for a national agency.
My first two contracts with Fusion were great — same recruiter, responsive, found me good SNF placements in the Midwest. Third contract, my recruiter left and the transition was rocky. I had to re-explain my entire preferences to someone new. They recovered, but recruiter continuity is the one thing I’d flag.
I’ve done four contracts with Fusion and have been very happy. The mobile app for managing timesheets and compliance documents is genuinely useful. Pay has been fair and my recruiter has been consistent. Strong recommendation for therapists who want a well-organized larger agency.
Good overall experience but I felt like the pay package could have been higher. When I got a competing quote from ProTherapy for the same assignment area, Fusion was $200/week lower and couldn’t explain why. That said, the benefits and recruiter relationship kept me for a second contract.
Fusion has been solid for six contracts. Recruiter has been the same person the whole time which I’m grateful for. The 401k match is something I actually max out each year. For a larger agency, they do a better job at the personal touch than AMN or Aya.
Fair experience. Contract was as advertised, housing stipend was within GSA limits, recruiter responded within 24 hours usually. Nothing blew me away but nothing went wrong either. Fusion is a reliable mid-tier choice if you prioritize benefits over absolute maximum pay.
Fusion leads on benefits package comprehensiveness. ProTherapy typically delivers $150–$350/week higher take-home pay for equivalent assignments.
