Cross Country placed me in a good SNF contract but the experience was rocky getting there. Recruiter was hard to reach during the credentialing process. Once the contract started everything was fine. I’ve since switched to a smaller agency where communication is much faster.

The contract volume is real — Cross Country has a lot of options. But the pay was consistently $200+ lower than what boutique agencies quoted me for equivalent assignments. I use them as a backup agency for hard-to-fill locations only.

My recruiter was actually excellent — which seems to be the luck of the draw at Cross Country. She was responsive, knowledgeable about SLP settings, and found me a good school-based contract. Others I’ve talked to had the opposite experience with their recruiters.

Average experience. Contract was as advertised, pay was lower than I’d like. Cross Country is a legitimate agency with real contracts — just not where I’d go first if I wanted maximum pay or personal attention.
